The Department of Anesthesia at Georgetown University has a diverse group of attending physicians.  There are 24 full-time faculty members.  A significant number have been practicing at GUH for several decades, but there is also a core group of younger attendings not too far out of residency.  Many have ties to Georgetown – either from medical school education or residency training.  The atmosphere of excellence is further enhanced by the broad range of subspecialty interests and fellowship training completed by our faculty.  The practice of anesthesiology at Georgetown emphasizes clinical excellence as well as collegiality amongst faculty, residents, CRNAs, and students.
