How to Apply
We are currently accepting applications for seven CA-1 (PGY-2) positions beginning in July 2009. All applications must be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Interviews are conducted from November through January. To match in our program, U.S. senior medical students (M.D. and D.O.) are required to participate in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). All seven positions will be available in the NRMP Match.
From time to time, positions in the CA-1 or CA-2 class become available. Please direct all inquiries to the Residency Coordinator. Both U.S. and international medical graduates must have completed a PGY-1 clinical base year in an ACGME-approved training program before we will consider your application for a CA-1 or CA-2 position in anesthesiology. Georgetown University Hospital sponsors J1 visas.
